Puros cuentos is a collection of short-fiction stories based on the Paraguayan socio-historical contemporary background in which they take place. Although based on traces of the spoken Spanish of the region, it was accepted with praise in Spain as being “a very engaging text, easy to follow by both Paraguayans and foreigners”. In 2005 it was part of a critical study published by Scott A. Schwenter;  also elected to be part of Puntos de Vista a revised version of the Spanish university textbook by Jill K. Welch;  and it was reviewed in Europe by Professor Kurt Spang. Click on
